THE MERMAID INN
The Mermaid Inn is a seafood restaurant that is located in New York City’s east village. This design was inspired by vintage life preservers and the classic seersucker pattern. This design fits in with Mermaid Inn’s trendy east village location, yet gives the feeling of a restaurant that you could stumble upon while on the beach.

La Sera
La Sera Barbera is a popular red wine from Italy. The idea behind this design came from La Sera’s name, “the evening.” I used the dark color of the wine bottle to highlight the bold logo while the rest of the bottle is covered in frosted glass- just like a foggy evening. This was my way of illustrating La Sera's meaning. I also used bold colors to
differentiate the three different varietals.

HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON FAIRY TALES
This was a design for a series of Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Anderson- The Ugly Duckling, The Little Mermaid and The Princess and the Pea. The design for this three book series gives reference to antique book plates and the classic plaid pattern. I wanted this series to appeal to both children and adults.

Ombra
Ombra, which means shadow, is an Italian kitchen and Winebar. This textural design reflects the warm and rustic vibe of the restaurant and the Italian cuisine. The idea behind this identity was wine stains. This idea was applied to the OMBRA logotype- which was hand painted with wine.
